The weather,indoors and LONDON:P

The weather has been really hot lately,i so want to go to the beach but so far no luck, all my cousins are taking their exams and im the only one free....plus everyone here is busy with the arrival of relatives that there has been no time for any zarada trips!!
So i have been trying to enjoy my time in doors, doing nothing but sleeping in, reading for my favourite Author John Grisham(The Last Juror),and hanging out at grandma.. I started "The Last Juror" awhile ago but because of exams and all i had to put reading it on hold and now is the time to finish it up:)
Other then that, i have been checking the net to get a better view of London. I'm not sure how much i will get to see in London cuz of the internship (work work work), but im hoping i'd stop at Harrods. I really must visit this place (or something will happen to me)....I have made a list of a must see, but since i dont know much about London and its so far apart im not sure if my friends there would be willing to be all over the place in one week----and im only free for few hours each day....Londoners any suggestions?!!
I have 13 days left before i head to London...I'm excited...Lets hope things work out:)

Salam Happymoi,

Excellent goal - Harrod's! Oh what an adventure that store is for certain. I started at the bottom in the enormous food court area and just continued going up, and to be honest I'm not sure I made it to the top of the store. ;-)

Speaking from a tourist point of view, I enjoyed Harrod's, watching the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, and walking in Hyde Park. Also did a double-decker bus tour of the city pointing out the 'high-lights' of the town. I was only there in transit to Germany so that's all I was able to do in two days, but it was memorable nonetheless.

I'm getting so excited for your venture.

I think "Harrods" would be a good start especially for a "girl" who loves shopping and shops but let me know your list and i will try to add some stuff :) and it depends what you want to see and what you are in to so I would be more than happy to help :) and without a charge as we have already done good business with the barakat :P

London is great but is huge and most of us here dont get to see the sights.
Harroda is great as long as you dont spend much money but do have a coffee there, visit the food hall and the Egyptian hall to see Mohamed Al-Fayed's face all over the columns.
another must is the London Eye (the huge wheel) but go on a clear day.
a must if you like shopping is Bluewater shopping centre which is massive but a bit out of London.
as ibeebarbie mentioned, the bus tour of London is a must.
plenty to do in such a short time, good luck inshaAllah and let me know if you need any assisstance :o)

I know with such weather here in Tripoli, you can either go to the beach or simply stay in-doors..
Happy, if you want to join us on Friday or if you want to go on any other day to qaryet Janzour let me know :oD
I guess it's time to have a meeting! email me and we'll come up with something :o)

Good luck with the internship and enjoy ur stay in London.
